Layers of ink
My youngest loves sharks and these are meant to be little blue shark, one of his favorites. The background is watercolored, with an embossed sheet of acetate on top. There is some space between the acetate and the background, making the card look 3-D.
Emboss acetate in an embossing folder and add Stickles at the back. Paint an undersea background with watercolor paint. When dry, splatter with white gouache and dark watercolor paint.
Stamp the sharks and paint them with watercolors. Adhere with foam tape. Add sequins and stamped sentiments to the card.
