WT1057, Paper Towel Rose
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: snietje

I've always wanted to try to make some paper roses, today was the occasion, I've folded 2 paper towels and die cut some circles (15) colored the edges with red stabilo and blended with brush and water, folded them around the glass with about 1/3 in the glass and 2/3 hanging over, let them dry a bit, then took them off and one by one keeping the folds laid them back to the glass and glued petal after petal with a bit of glue, then sparkled a bit of gold shimmer and fixed that with hair spray
I will make more for sure!!

Anita, these roses are stunnimg! Thanks for you detailed instructions. I do not have a lot of time right now, but I am pinning this and will try it soon.
P.S. I am busy in the gardens, weeding my own roses and other perennials

oh wow. I do this with meat on my charcuterie boards and never thought to do it with paper of any kind - especially paper towels. Amazing creation my talented friend. Hugz

These are absolutely lovely, Anita. The texture of the paper towels really does look like a rose petal.

Wow, Anita. And wow! Amazing blending, too. They remind me a lot of my favourite rose in the rose garden in our Botanic Gardens.
