I made this card on the weekend when a friend from a Teabag Group shared some videos with me on how to fold a paper wreath and a folded bird.
I cut a 3inch square of white paper and stamped it in Sepia ink with a script stamp to fold the bird. I used a Japanese print origami paper with blossoms on it, cut to 1.75". I added a die cut branch for the bird to rest on and did a bit of ink blending on the edges of the bird and an embossed Cherry Blossom background. Mounted everything onto black card stock. When I came to post it - this older Challenge was sitting at the top, having been recently added to by CraftyMerla. It was perfect timing for me to find just the right place to share my card. Thanks for looking.

What a lovely blend of origami and our card making art. I love that little bird and it looks great with the script design. You had both the perfect EF for the background and the perfect sentiment. Great card!
