I am hosting the WCW challenge this week and we are using a tutorial showing how to paint loose watercolor lilacs.
The tutorial is called Easy Watercolor Lilacs and is by deWinton Paper Co.
I love lilacs but they don't grow well here in the hot climate or some varieties don't so I will just try painting some.
Hope you will join us this week.

Beautiful. We don't even have leaves yet. It will all come. The daffodils are starting. Your bouquet of lilacs is beautiful. I like how a few fell. TFS

Your lilacs turned out SO well, Brenda. The leaves are like lilac leaves...often times the artist doesn't match the specific flower with its leaves. Like your "light hand" watercoloring...no doubt that it is watercolor. : )

I guess it's a good thing you can watercolored them both so beautifully and "easily" (if the tutorial is to be believed). Now you can enjoy therm year round. Beautiful picture; Beautiful card.
