DESSERT: FLOWERS-Think of blue flowers with brown leaves. It really is a lovely combination.
I loved the title of today's challenge: The Night The Pecan Pie Turned Blue!
I started with Pecan Pie designer series paper and added a bit of blue to the left of the image to complement the sentiment. I distressed the edges and colored them to mimic the Pecan Pie designer series paper.
I stamped the detail stamp using 1" ink cubes and used navy for the flower and olive for the stem/leaves. I stamped the flower in balmy blue and added a Pecan Pie center.
I stamped balmy blue dots to the right of the flower. I used my distressing tool to distress the image and sentiment panels. They were colored with Pecan Pie ink using a dauber. The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy. Wink of Stella was added to the flower. I added a bow with a glue dot and added Tinsel Gems to the card. |
