Quick Easter Card by andersen65 at Splitcoaststampers
Instead of using the top note die for the cardbase, I used it for the image panel. I used different colors, changed the orientation and added a designer series paper background. Instead of using the Top Note as the cardbase, I used half of it as the image panel.
I dry embossed the Top Note piece with the Easter Eggs, then cut it in half. I sponged it with Misty Moonlight ink using a dauber. I stamped the sentiment and punched it out using the double oval punch from SU. I used the dauber to color the edge of this too. I colored the bunnies with Copic Markers. I added crystal effects to the tail of the little bunny. I added the images and sentiment with dimensionals.
The background was made with 1/2" strips of Thoughtful Journey designer series paper in a Herringbone pattern. Here is a great tutorial for that. Herringbone Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers |
