I chose to honor Polly, and this is her card that I cased:
IC600 Believe in Dreams by peeps321 at Splitcoaststampers
I changed: the colors, the theme, and the sentiment.
I kept: whimsical feel, framing, and a split sentiment.
To make the background, I loosely water-colored the carrots and then sketched the detail in them. I also took a circle stencil and stamped some tiny script in some of the circles.
Polly was such a lovely part of SCS. I am so glad we are taking another chance to celebrate her (and others).
Polly and I shared a love of quirky and unusual, and she always encouraged that side of my creativity. I know she would like this card. |
