This mixed media page was inspired by the lemon butterflies which are starting to flutter about in early spring. The background was coated with gesso and then painted with Distress Paint, mist with water to blend. When dry, apply texture paste mixed with paint through a stencil.
Stamp the background with sentiments and a script stamp. Splatter with white paint.
Die cut the butterflies and watercolor with Distress Ink. Mist the center with a little shimmer mist. Die cut the bodies from glitter paper. Die cut the small butterflies from left-over paper.
