It's my turn to host the WCW challenge this week and I hope you like the tutorial I chose. I love it and one reason is because I love birds.
Why do I have two cards? The reason is because I tend to sketch or just paint small and I don't know why but I just painted small on the A2 card and thought I would try to paint one with larger images.
The tutorial is Paint a 4-Stroke Watercolor Bird and the artist is Debbie Walker Art.
The beginning is the artist showing how to do each stroke and I loved seeing how she made the stroke for the bird. It works!
So, get out your watercolors and let's get to painting. It really is fun and we are learning a lot.

Well, I for one am glad you tried "big" because it looks super I adore your birds -- both of them -- but I have to admit I like "seeing" the larger one a bit more. And the limbs and foliage are just as great on both. Wonderful job, Brenda. Adorable cards.

These are beautiful, Brenda! Thank you for the lovely samples, wonderful, doable tutorial, and your sweet words to open your challenge thread. Those sweet words are like a balm to my weary heart as I read them this afternoon.
