I am the hostess for this week's watercolor challenge and I have chosen a very short painting of poppies (a little less than 5 minutes). I love her painting but I didn't make mine as loose as hers. I want to do another and make them the way she did if I ever find time. My painting is a little different so I didn't copy her.
The artist is MarenaART and her tutorial is Watercolor Loose & Simple Poppies.

I am excited to see everyone's paintings and hope you have fun.

You did so good with the light and dark on the flowers - I just have dark. Really pretty card/painting, Brenda. Wonderful video you found too - thanks! Hugz

What a good choice as I love the looser style of these blossoms. Love your version and the deep tone of your red poppies. I need to get back to painting again. Thanks for the inspiration, Brenda!
