January was a pretty stressful month, this is the first Friday I've been able to play along. I thought about letting music inspire me, but I went with cats and books based on a recent book I read (The Cat who Saved Books) which, the entire time I was reading it, I could see as a Studio Ghibli film.
Here's the book cover - and do you know, I hadn't seen it (since I read it on Kindle) till just now when I went to link it, so my addition of a light bulb is wow to me!! https://www.easons.com/the-cat-who-s...oaAn8AEALw_wcB
Katzel cat stamped and coloured with Couleur d'Art. The brick wall is from my stash. I really liked the bottom bit below the stencil, so I cut it off, layered it on card and added it to the top, which is the main reason I added the light bulb. Scrap of Craft Consortium paper for the floor. I added a circle of vellum sponged with with yellow behind the light bulb, and popped the sentiment up on foam.

Such a happy co-incidence, Sabrina and I am glad it ‘lit’ up your day. Love. your brick wall…always great to be able to pull something from your stash. I think I will be digging in my pile for something. Books and cat- nothing more comforting.

I love Ghibli and so two important things, I love your card, and thanks for sending me a book recommendation! What a great coincidence about the book cover, chills-all-over moment.
