 | | I have had this stencil for a year and never used it, till today. I started with using stencil A and embossed it using my Big Shot Plus. I set it up for embossing, place one cutting mat first, then a rubber mat (labeled embossing), my paper and stencil, then a cutting plate on top and it embossed. It didn't emboss like an embossing folder, but it added a bit of texture and the stencil went easily in the correct place.
I used Petal Pink for each flower, Soft Sea Foam for the leaves, and Pool Party for the background spaces. Then I placed stencil B, the very detailed portion over the inked piece, and added the detail with Slate, which is very much like SU Basic Gray. I once used Basic Gray ink refill to ink my slate cube.
I found a very old Hero Arts set with this greeting; it fit perfectly on the strip of white paper that was next to my paper trimmer.
The verse for the Crafter's of Faith challenge is: 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
Challenge: Use something new, a new technique, an old product in a new way, or any way you wish to interpret the scripture. I was thinking since it is a New Year to focus on new.
As I said, my new is the stencil set that has not been used. My new technique is to emboss the stencil. I am adding this to the USEIT2025 since the greeting is from a retired set; it is dated 2009 and is long retired.
This will be added to the Crazy is our fame - Stencils are our Game challenge: https://stencilfun.blogspot.com/2025...challenge |
