Old- watercolor paint
New- parchment paper
I sketched a giraffe on my page. I used parchment paper to trace out the space left for lettering. I then wrote my scripture on the parchment paper. I turned the parchment paper over and using a pencil I traced over the letters. I am getting pretty good at writing backwards. Maybe someday I will be able to skip the first step and just write backwards. Well maybe. Then I flipped the parchment paper over. Using the side of the pencil I rubbed over the parchment paper transferring the words to my journal. After I water colored the giraffe I used the graphic markers to go over the text. Then I erased any unwanted pencil marks. Hope you will play along with the mix-ability mixed media challenge. |
