 | | Yesterday, my oldest daughter handed me a canvas, sent me a picture of her Christmas tree, and then sent me a link to a video where an artist had painted a cute pink vintage tree on a frame like this. "Hey Mom, paint me a picture of my Christmas tree."
She did a vintage tree this year with minimal ornaments, lots of swag and red ribbons, and tons of tinsel. I thought I had a lot of acrylic paints but I couldn't find them so this was done with gouche and old goopy watercolors and some silver and gold paint pens. Stickles and glitter were added too so it is totally MIX.
I have finished it off with some glow around the gold ornaments and now I am a bit worried about why the ornaments would be glowing on a vintage tree and why the silver and red ones aren't. So maybe the gold ones were actually lights? She will love it regardless, but I bet my grandsons will ask about the glow. LOL. |
