 | | This is for the Color Challenge hosted by Barbara. Her delightful colors are: Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, and Parakeet Party. The dessert option is Winter and/or Snow. I used both snow and a winter holiday.
I am linking also to the CAS Challenge hosted by Pam to create for Christmas. I liked these non-traditional colors for a Christmas card.
As I gathered my supplies for the colors, I found the three sparkly ribbons in close matches to the challenge colors. I used my favorite little snowman stamp: stamped in black, colored with blends markers, die-cut in a stitched rectangle, and stamped the sentiment at top. I embossed a white panel, wrapped the ribbons around and layered on a Fresh Freesia card base. Then I attached the snowman panel. Embellished with three opal rounds on the left side. Note: I did use Pecan Pie (neutral) on the carrot nose as it is the closest neutral to carrot orange. The final finishing touch was star dust on the snowflakes around and at the base of the snowman.
We hope you will join in with the challenges and have fun! TFL
