Christmas Poinsettia

I am combining challenges. Janine asked us to use stencils for her Falliday challenge. Tracie asked us to use stencils for the Challenge Your Stash October challenge.

I saw this idea on Pinterest using the Abundant Beauty Masks by SU, which I have used as sunflowers, but never poinsettia flowers. I stenciled the flowers and leaves, then used dies to cut the rectangles. I tried layering with white like the inspiration piece, but decided I liked the green better. I used a darker green than my ink, but I liked it.

Thanks for the fun challenges, ladies, and allowing me to stretch my creativity with items I own.

Beautiful stenciling, Lisa. Great idea to use the sunflower stencil for poinsettias. It is so pretty and Christmassy. The triple layering takes it up a notch. Well done!
