I had to make a quick card using a background piece from my stash. I often make a batch of cling wrap backgrounds on a hit day when they will dry quickly. I usually use spray starch to weet my paper, and use Brushos. I cut it with the tree die and decorated it with half pearls and a star. The background is white Bazzill embossed with Snowflake Sky. I layered it onto gold glitter card and also used that to cut the sentiment. The foreground is SU's white velvet paper.

I’ve never tried this, Sabrina, but what a subtle yet lovely effect as your greens swirl and change in your tree. The pearls as ornaments works beautifully here. It’s been a crazy spring, summer and fall, but a wonderful trip to Italy was mixed into the crazy. I just had lens replacement on my eyes, but am able to see quite well close up. I haven’t been able to create without glasses since I was 42!

FANTASTIC card, Sabrina, and a FANTASTIC challenge! TEN THUMBS UP (I will have to borrow several pairs... ) for teaching us to be resourceful and frugal! This takes me back to some of the things I loved so much when I started stamping years ago... making use of what I already had rather than drawing off my bank accounts to get more!
THANK YOU!!!!
I hope you are well and are enjoying a lovely season!
