MMTPT845 For Joann
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: shirlb19

The teapotters are sending cards to Joann who is not only grieving the loss of her dh but was in a terrible accident. You can find the challenge here:
MMTPT845-Lovely Lilacs-Oct. 1, 2024 by peeps321 at Splitcoaststampers
Polly is our hostess and chose a tic tac toe board. I did lilac, hugs and texture. I will put hugs on the inside and I just went with the colors of lilacs and maybe even the texture is a stretch, lol. Joann loves lilacs. She is MaryJo's (Icela52) neighbour who asked for a card shower to cheer her on. Couldn't get a true color with the camera. I glued the confetti die onto an orchid oasis panel, diecut a trellis in soft seafoam green, used 2 diff. heart dies and added a bow and twine.

The die-cut trellis most definitely adds texture and it's gorgeous in that floral paper. So does the little ribbon and twine bow - there are plenty of ways of adding texture.

Amazing... just beautiful. At a quick glance, the lattice work kinda looks like people holding hands instead of lilacs. This came out superb. The layers and textures really stand out, and that ribbon is the cherry on top.

What beautiful patterned paper, Shirl! Love the texture and interest you achieved with your trellis die! Really like that metallic ribbon and twine bow.

Beautiful card! I love the way you emphasized the sentiment with a switch in colour to yellow behind it. The little bow really draws the eye right to it.
