 | | My card is for the Color Challenge hosted by Mary. Her lovely colors are Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo and Mossy Meadow, with sequins or enamel dots as the dessert option.
Recently, I have seen many cards designed using smaller stamps that are randomly stamped. I realized that I often consider the smaller stamps in a stamp set just as filler images, and not as a main image. So, I decided to feature a small two-step flower using the two pinks. Pretty in Pink is the filler or center and Melon mambo is the outline & details. The leaves are Mossy Meadow. I stamped off for the leaf filler and full strength for the details. I added some stamped speckle and a Happy Birthday sentiment in the Mossy Meadow.
Then I trimmed the panel and layered on the Melon Mambo with a strip of Pretty in Pink DSP behind it. I used enamel dots for the flower centers. Quick and easy!
Enjoy these beautiful colors! TFL
