I started by stamping and embossing my flamingo. Then I masked her and sponged in the sand, sky and sea. I spattered gold paint on the sand. Flamingo coloured with Sharpies and a black sparkle pen for her beak. The shells are coated with Glossy Accents. I finished the card off with a pen border and an MFT die-cut sun trimmed to fit.

I love this… I have some “funky metal birds” on my fireplace, and one of them looks just like this. The sentiment if fabulous… I find miracles in nature every day. Great design and colors fit a very happy card:

Ok, that is now my second favorite flamingo (Gladys still being number one) in the world. What a fun and adorable image. This is surely going to make Kristin smile and even long for a trip to the beach. Fabulous card.

Great card! I love all the details in the scene you created -- the glossy sea shells, the glitter glue along the shoreline, and the pressure embossed patterns on the sun.
