 | | I couldn't resist making another card for Janelle's MIX yesterday (MIX596: Layers Matter (6-28-2024) by dizzymommie at Splitcoaststampers ), as this layered background technique is one of my favourites: Layered Gesso Background Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
After the gesso, I stamped a grid stamp, a script stamp and a small swirl background. When dry I used buff titanium, yellow ochre and a light blue acrylic. When dry I used crackle texture paste over the stencil. When that was dry I added some Inka gold and a turquoise wax. Then I edged the panel with gold paint and sprinkled copper glitter over it.
The flower is a Spellbinders daisy topper (and I seem to be missing one, no idea whether it's the largest or the smallest), and some leaves. I'll add a sentiment when I know what I'm using it for. |
