This was done following along with the tutorial Brenda is sharing this week for Crashing Waves. I do have a fairly photo heavy blog post with process shots here. Thanks for this challenge Brenda, & tfl.

Stacy, you did a fabulous job with the challenge and I can just hear the waves splashing against those rocks. Your rocks look great as well as the splashes.

Stacy, this beautiful watercoloring reminds me of my beloved Sonoma County coast that I greatly miss! I can almost hear the crashing waves in your beautiful work! Thank you for taking me back to a place I love!
P.S. I do visit the Sonoma Coast daily via the Bodega Marine Laboratory webcam!

You got such great results with this painting. I think there is such movement in your ocean. Your cliffs are also very nicely done and reminds me of the look of California beaches. Great job with this difficult challenge.

Stacy I enjoyed reading your process in your blog. Some of what you struggled with I experienced as well. I think getting the transparency in the water and the whiteness of the spray is definitely a challenge. I love how your end result looks.
