This is my card for today's sketch challenge as well as today' Alphabet Challenge letter Y for yard. I am blessed to regularly see deer in our yard with the pretty trees. (There are also bears and mountain lions out there but I've only seen one bear and no mountain lions - and I'm good with that!)
For my card, I cut a piece of kraft cs and embossed it with the Timeworn Text ef. To create my focal panel, I did partial die cutting with a circle framelit and then cut the sides parallel to each other. I lightly sponged this panel to create ground and a cloudy sky. I sponged the two trees with a couple of different inks as well. The trees, deer, and sentiment are all dies that were gifted from Ann - thank you, Ann!
I stamped a thin strip of white cs with the stripes stamp from Gorgeous Grunge and then sponged it as well to tone down the white. I added the two Balmy Blue stitched triangles and the sentiment to complete the card.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Love this! We see a lot of deer across the street and sometimes in our yard. Ginger, our Golden, pretty much keeps them out of the yard.
Great use of the sketch too.

Perfect place for the “Y” challenge. A yard full of creatures. Reminds me of one visit to Canada when I was staying with friends and having breakfast and a big black bear came wandering through the yard making for the apple tree. I will never forget that experience!
