I stamped the girl on this thin scrap of DSP and again on white, which I colored with markers and fussy cut. Paper pieced her and a kitten at her feet and added the sentiment. Mounted on a strip of Purple Posy. I struggled all day to find a way to incorporate it into a card, but then decided it made a good bookmark on its own. I covered it with clear Contact paper, punched a hole and added some ribbon. I will tuck it into a card I have in my stash for Pam.

This is adorable! And your fussy-cutting is wonderful!

this is a fabulous book marker. I love giving 'gifts' away like this... I think the recipient enjoys having something to hold onto as a reminder they are not alone. You did a fantastic coloring job. Marvelous gift for Pam.

I like the background - it reminds me of lavender fields in France. And the image of the girl with her kitten is just so sweet. A bookmark is always useful.

Your girl and your coloring/piecing look fabulous with that dp. I agree with Sabrina that it's reminiscent of lavender fields. Adding the kitten adding so much charm to the scene. So creative. I love that you kept it as a bookmark. I bet Pam will as well. Great job, Faith.

I think sending this bookmark is a wonderful idea and one that will keep getting used and bring joy to Pam. Beautifully done, love the colors and paper piecing.
