ABC20Y25 - For this week's Alphabet Challenge it's the letter Y and our theme is locations!! My location is Yard, my backyard!! Yup, the neighbors chickens got loose and were all over our yard! They were actually chasing our automatic lawn mower! It was so funny!
MMTPT828 - will send off one of the chicken cards to the recipent this week, Pam, who loves country scenes!
WCW209 - painting loose chickens!! Had to try again as I did not like my first card! The little chickens are fun to paint and go quickly!

Oh, I love this country scene and had a chuckle about the chickens chasing the automatic lawn mower. Great job on the challenge.

Uh Oh! Now there are more chickens on your card. Does that mean more chickens have escaped your neighbor's yard??? Good thing they did because they have been wonderful muses for you today. I am smiling so broadly with this triptych of cards. Wonderful paintings for a wonderful story. I hope you keep one of these as a remembrance of a fun day. Hugs.

Ann, I think you can find inspiration in anything for your wonderful, hand-painted cards! Love all the wandering chickens you've created for this gallery!

What a delightful scene. I know it sounds weird, but it reminds me of camping in the Pyrenees after we visited Snietje - the hens on the campsite used to wander into our tent. Absolutely super country image.
