My great-niece recently acquired a Great Pyrenees puppy which she named Paisley. So, obviously, I needed to make her birthday card for this year with a Great Pyrenees and paisley. Look what a darling image Mo designed. It's only available to Patreon members at the moment, but it will be in her store in the near future.
And, the only paisley I have (right now that is) is this embossing folder. I love the debossing technique from this TLC and I think it should probably be renamed to "The Magic Debossing technique" because it is. On this bg, I started by using the CP reinkers as watercolors and just randomly applied the first three colors listed above It looked horrible -- beautiful colors but blah looking still. Even after embossing I almost tossed it, but I thought I've come this far might as well swipe the grape ink. And, it was magic because now I love it and I am so glad it didn't land in the trash. I should have prefaced this with the fact that I had already attempted 6 other bgs of various colors; embossed and debossed; ink blended and watercolored; so, I was getting a bit frustrated. But this color combo was the one I needed. The sentiment was typed in Excel using Janda Curlygirl Chunky font.
And for your viewing pleasure, Paisley the Pup appears in the upper corner. She already thinks she's a lap dog, so I can't imagine what my g-niece is going to do when she's full grown. LOL. Hope your day is filled with "cute" -- kids, kittens pups, birds, videos, cards -- whatever makes you smile. TFL

Gorgeous rich colours - and what a beautiful dog, both the stamped and the real one. That is a real jumbo size paisley embossing folder - I guess that suits the dog ;-). I have the very early Cuttlebug one - and the problem with all those early ones is that they were catering entirely for the American market so they're all too short for a metric card front.

Wow, Debbie, amazing!!!!! Looks like a sweet dog. I have a furry nephew named Rowdy who thinks he's a lap dog...all 80 some lbs of him. You are a pro at that background.

Gorgeous vibrant colored BG! Extremely creative and eye-catching. The dog photo is adorable. The dog on the card is too cute. I love the white print on the deep blue BG...
