I saw a couple of cards by Linda, where she used squares on point, which reminded me of mountains. I recently got the Hero Arts graphic mountains stencil and thought it would be perfect. I created a few masks for the stencil, so I could ink the areas in different colors. The sky is salvaged patina, the sun a combination of fossilized amber and wild honey and the mountains are vintage photo and some crackling campfire. We live in Nevada and I just love the layered colors of the mountains. The sentiment was stamped in dark chocolate, die cut and popped up with foam tape. The panel was placed on the canyon clay card base. Here's Linda's card that inspired me.

This stencil is fab and you have really showed us a prime example of this graphic design. I can visualize this with one more color, too. Brown waves (hills) and then the pointy triangles in shades of green for pine trees.

Sue, this is unique and cool. Love the different colors on the same stencil and the scene works so well with those words. I seriously need to get some more stencils! Hugz
