MIX591 Not Dashing Through The Snow
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Cook22

I'm calling this another card for MariLynn's challenge today: MIX 591 To bee artistic (May 24, 2024) by MariLynn at Splitcoaststampers as it's definitely a mixed media background, albeit from my stash, and we don't have to add a bee. This has been in the works since my binge of using up scraps from my desk - the deer was one of the things I pulled out, and I picked out the cling wrap background to use with it. But I didn't want to use a snow embossing folder on the green background, and the evergreen one I had ordered took three weeks to arrive - so today is my day for pulling everything together. While I waited for the embossing folder I added more flocking to the deers antlers.
I embossed the background, then swiped over it with green ink, and added some chunky white and gold embossing powders. I cut a gold frame to fit around it, and then had to stop and think. There wasn't much space for anything else, and I badly need Christmas cards for my stash so I just added holly leaves and berries along the top, and think that it will be fine without a Christmas sentiment.

Cling Wrap Background Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers I used spray starch, Brushos and some copper Pixie Powder for the background panel.
