I had a stamp with a pair of glasses frames but could not find it. However while looking through my stash I found a sheet of cute bird stickers I got from Dollar Tree a while back, and noticed that several of the birds had glasses on. So I made my card around that.
I covered a small Hallmark/Dollar Tree card with striped paper and die cut some light blue cardstock with a postage stamp die. I cut the two bottom parts of the die cut off to fit on the smaller cases and glued to the card base. I added the stickers and stamped the sentiment in the fourth postal frame.
I didnât have anyone in mind when I made this but I realized it would be perfect for my teacher friend who gets out of school for the summer in a week.

I really like that postage stamp die - the perforations make a great grid layout, just perfect for a sentiment and your focal image birds. It would indeed be perfect for a teacher ready for their well -deserved summer break.

Those stickers are really cute; I haven't been to a Dollar Tree for ages, but I remember I was often tempted to pick up little embellies like this when I shopped there.
