Polly (peeps321) is our Teaparty Hostess this week, and her challenge for us is to feature chickens or "chicks" on our cards for Jen, who could use a few smiles. Jen's father passed away in January.
I hope my paper-pieced Chick, hanging around with her favorite paper-pieced Chicklettes, will make Jen smile! Or maybe even chickle, er, chuckle! TFL!

Great card! I love the paper piecing you did on the chick and chicklettes (wasn't that a type of gum?). The warm, cheerful colors you used are sure to make Jen smile.

Your card made me smile and your description made me "chickle". I love the happy oranges and yellows you used here. And, you know that I think dots are the happiest of images on cards. The way you combined them with checks and chicks is simply adorable. Great card.

Thought #1 - I spotted these chicks in the gallery right away. I love the paper piecing. I should get this stamp out and use it again.
Thought #2 - I felt bad for the recipient because I could relate. It took me a moment to realize that’s me. I just ran over to the challenge to see. Thank you, this is so sweet!

LOVE the paper piecing (I have to remember to do this more often so thanks for the inspiration) and those ribbons and enamel dots add fun. Such a cheerful card for Jen!
