Congratulations to the Color Challenge team and participants!! This is for the 1000th Color Challenge! We are celebrating! The challenge is to use one of the CC hostess' favorites listed on the challenge thread.
This is a new sample for my favorite, which is CC939: Polished Pink, Tahitian Tide and Garden Green with layers for the dessert option.
I used a combination of blends markers and ink with a blender pen to color this image. Wink of Stella on the water & vase and the roses. I layered the image on cardstock and shimmer vellum onto a crisp white card base. A sentiment banner and gems for finishing touches.
My card went to our beautiful daughter-in-law who is expecting our first grandbaby. We do not yet know if it is a boy or girl, so the pink and blue colors were perfect for her card.
I look forward to seeing how you use these colors again.
Pick a color combo or more than one. The more you participate, the more chance you have of winning. And you have more cards! Have fun with it!

Such a pretty vase with a rose and rosebud, Diane! The shimmer vellum makes this extra special and I'm sure your daughter-in-law appreciated a Mother's Day card from you. How Exciting! Congratulations on soon becoming a grandmother!

First congrats to you and your daughter-in-law. You created such a beautiful card for her. I am sure that it touched her. I love the rose image- one fully open and the other just a bud. How appropriate for a mom-to-be.
