Our Teaparty hostess this week is Jen (Jennifrann), and she is hosting a Birthday Teaparty for Eleanor, who will be 96 years young!
Our challenge is to use slang words from the last 96 years on our cards for Eleanor, because she has seen a lot of them come and go over those years. I do not have any stamps that fit the bill, so I used my computer to print out the greeting, and then die-cut it with one of the Lawn Fawn Chit Chat word bubbles dies.
My vintage sewing pattern models are happy to send swell birthday greetings to Eleanor! The ladies aren't really sure if their dresses are peach-colored, or somewhere between peach and orange, but they had them custom-made just for Eleanor's party! I hope Eleanor will enjoy having them as guests. TFL!

This image is a perfect choice for a woman of the certain age; my mom would be 94 if she were still living and this dress pattern image looks like some she sewed dresses from. I love that bold dsp you've used with this; like a pretty fabric for a party dress!

Oh, I love your stamps! I don't think I've seen them before. I've had the TH catwalk fashion set on and off my wishlist a few times before deciding they weren't quite what I wanted. I've made a couple of Vintage Vogue patterns myself. I like the arch framing, it makes me imagine that they are in an upmarket fitting room, looking in a mirror.
Thinking of the song from High Society, this is certainly one swellegant, elegant party.

Two beautiful and fashionable ladies to send happy greetings to Eleanor. I, too, love that stamp and it does remind me of vintage Vogue patterns. I like what Sabrina said about the arch is liking looking into a mirror at a high end boutique. I know what you mean about "peach" but it does look peachy on my screen, at least. The chat bubble is so clever, Love that, And I love that beautiful dp. Fabulous card to help Eleanor celebrate her fabulous birthday. I bet she will think this card is "SWELL", indeed.

Love the pattern models. My Grandmother and mother had so many patterns and I still love looking at them in thrift stores and vintage shows. These look fab and this card is fab! Hugz

Your simplicity pattern models are super . . . . and I think I made BOTH those dresses in my younger years. I remember thinking those dropped wasitline dresses were SO sexy! This is a "swell" card from start to finish and now I will 23 skidoo .. .
