This is my sample for CC998. I am your hostess this week and I chose Boho Blue, Calypso Coral and Pecan Pie for the color trio. Dessert option this week is designer paper.
I used the Stampin' Up "flight & airy" designer paper for my card. It has all the challenge colors. I saw this card on Pinterest and decided to re-create it. I chose a different pattern from the dsp, added enamel dots and stenciled the circle background with clouds.
This view shows the card closed. I die cut the "Sending" phrase 3x in boho blue cardstock to give it a bit more depth. The bird images are fussy cut from the designer paper.
Hope you can play along with us this week. I am anxious to see what you all do with this color palette.

WOW! This card is gorgeous Mary! I love the fun fold and the paper. I actually have some - that I'm hoarding for some unknown reason - but I think I'll CASE this card for Mother's Day. (The mothers in my life will never know...)

This is so pretty, Mary! I love the stenciled sky background behind these delightful bluebirds ~ really, that is the BEST paper pack! I think I may have to get some of that Boho Blue cardstock; it looks very pertty.

Yes, my friend, we were certainly on the same wavelength this week, right down to fussy-cutting the exact same image. And yet, look how different our two cards are! I love the circle opening and the stenciled clouds. What a beautiful card!

Beautiful Mother's Day card, Mary. The DP is so pretty and offered wonderful colors for the Color Challenge. The birds are so sweet and the stenciled clouds add additional interest. Like the "circular "window" idea.
