I used watercolor paper and Distress ink Minipads applied with the make-up blending brushes to the de-bossed side Instead of tapping on the ink pads with the brushes, I smooshed the ink pads onto an acrylic block and picked the ink up from there. I used 3 shades of green, yellow orange, a deep pink, a medium and a pale pink. When all colored I spritzed lightly with a fine mist of water to activate the inks and dried with a heat gun. Then rubbed over with Archival Black soot. Next day I thought the blackout wasnt enough so I used Distress oxide Black soot over it all and the WC cardstock sucked it up perfectly.

This is a wonderful embossing folder! It would have taken quite some time to do all the colouring, but it looks well worth the effort. I love the idea of spritzing the distress inks, and using watercolour paper.
