Stacy encouraged us to to play with water color pencils today. My grandsons have my water color pencil sets all broke up and put in a GIANT bucket mixed with old colored pencils, old markers, crayons, etc. I didn't feel like hunting them, so I grabbed some old watercolor crayons I bought years ago and never used much. They were fun to play with. I sketched/doodled a bunch of cacti since I was lazy due to lack of sleep (colonoscopy prep).
Sending this to a friend who had to have a procedure this week involving lots of needles and knives.
Thanks for the inspiration, Stacy.

Ouch is right.....I can just feel the pain. Sorry your friend had such a procedure. I do love your use of the w/c crayons for the WCW.....looks fabulous. Lots of good sketching and doodling.

Oowie. The depth of color you got from your crayons is fabulous. I am planning to play with those next because, chances are I was doing them all wrong too in the past ha ha

Fantastic card using crayons. I remember using them before getting the watercolor tubes. Need to get mine out and try painting with them. Maybe in the future we should have a challenge using different water-soluble mediums. Terrific how you created the cacti with all the various hues of green and like the highlight of the white on the prickly hairs. Glad the dreaded procedure is over. TFS

There I was looking for the maker of this “stamp”. Ha, ha. The joke was on me. I can’t believe you doodled this perfect image. Going back for another look.
