I used a similar color scheme and letters as a prominent theme. The differences included the card shape and I used letter dies instead of a letter image.
I die cut letters from hand stamped plaid cardstock. I cut the letters three more times out of black cardstock and stacked the letters for dimension. These were glued onto a die cut shape and matted with blue cardstock. The background panel was stamped with various geometric shapes, die cut with a stitched patchwork die and reassembled. The die cut greeting was mounted on a deckled panel and backed with a stitched flag die cut.
Congratulations, Kathy. Enjoy all the cards made in your honor.

Wow! Great card, Rita! Love the design and the patchwork BG you created with the dies! I love the letters with the plaid design on them--it really adds!
