Linda is issuing the color challenge this week and it is a learning one. You can paint any image you wish but follow instructions in the tutorial for getting more depth to your paintings.
The tutorial is Improve Your Watercolor Paintings to Have More Depth and the artist is Nikki Hess.
I sketched and watercolored my pot and flowers and it was so much fun. Hope you will all join in and enjoy it with us.

Brenda, how did you get such great depth with a small image? I love how you did this with the painted image, torn sides and then a beautiful finished card. Love your choice of a bright geranium.

I like the way your paper looks torn. When I paint on watercolor paper I'm never sure how to use it on a card. Fussy cut it? Die cut it? I like this option.
