I have made a card for Nancy who recently suffered the loss of both her sister and her beloved Shih Tzu. The card features a die-cut that I had in my collection, which I thought would be perfect for this card. I imagine Nancy's sister walking her dog, which is why I chose this particular design. To complete the card, I added an uplifting sentiment and layered the die-cut on the same shade of paper. The card turned out to be very simple and easy to put together, so I ended up making five of them in different shades to see which one looked best. My personal favorite is the black one, as it has a dramatic effect, yet still conveys the sympathy message. However, I also made one in a shade of blue, which gives a more uplifting feel.
Thank you for looking!

What a thoughtful card with the silhouettes of the woman and dog to illustrate those recent losses. Beautiful. And by making the ones in other colors you have extras for your stash...looks like a good design to have on hand.
