This week the Teapotters are sending cards to lift the spirits of Nancy's friend, Theresa. Jacqueline is our hostess and she has challenged us to put some ombre on our cards. I was going to mask off a rectangle and ink blend the Crushed Olive in ombre style, but when I reached into the basket looking for a discarded piece of die cutting, I happened to spot this. It was clearly left over from something that I cut with my ScanNCut and it was clearly a good idea to keep it. Doesn't it look cool glued on top of the ombre background? Reminds me of paint sample cards. This lovely flower stamp is one that I inherited from someone's destash and I have no idea what the company is. Too bad. Isn't it lovely? This card has such delightful shimmer IRL, with mica mist on the ombre background and wink of stella on the flower. I hope Theresa loves her cards!

That's such a fresh looking green background, and must be gorgeous with the mica shimmer. Pretty flowers, too. And yes, that overlay looks great over the background.

Wow, Jen, this is soooo pretty. I love that you created with things saved and that you did water distressing - they remind me of tears and memories and then the happy colors bring in the happiness. Theresa is going to love this for sure. Thanks for making it and sending it to her. Hugz

Yep, that bg was keep-worthy and it's look super here. I love the stripes and the way they show off that lovely flower. Once again you managed a beautiful card with a touch of whimsy that just makes people smile. Great card.
