I got some fun patterns with the salt but I got it all over the place! I am reasonably happy with the daisy flower but I think I need a wider stalk and better leaf positions but still thought it would make a pretty card.

This is a lovely card, Janine. Love the subtle shading on the daisy petals and your background is absolutely beautifully done. Really enhances the daisy.

Yes, you did great with the salt...so much texture. Your daisy is so lovely.
I like that scalloped card base, too.

Yes, this makes a very pretty card! Your background is just great with the color wash and the texture from the liberal application of salt. It can be messy! I think the way you painted the shadows on your petals is really subtle and effective.

Oh - you got some really great "blooms" from the addition of the salt. (My painting was already too dry and I got basically nothing from my salt application. I like the proportions of your leaves & stem as I felt they were meant to be a less prominent feature on this painting.

your background turned out amazing - luv all the "texture" and your daisy is very pretty. ours don't have a very thick stem so i think yours is right on. a beautiful card!
