Stacy is our hostess and has a wonderful site for this week's Inspiration Challenge. I saw this Mourning Cloak Butterfly greeting card and thought about this digi butterfly image. I did the stamp etching on the white butterfly, then added some shadows with some grays. On the vellum butterfly I added color with markers on the back. Fussy cut both images and adhered the vellum to the top of the white butterfly. Found some bright colored papers with the white lined paper. Added the die cut sentiment (which I don't love and might change) and some enamel dots.

What a beautiful take on the inspiration! The layered effect with the vellum butterfly adds a lovely dimension, and your choice of colorful papers complements the design perfectly. The stamp etching technique on the white butterfly and the addition of shadows create such an elegant touch. Great job bringing the inspiration to life with your creativity!
