When I saw today's challenge, I HAD to pull out this sentiment stamp! I inherited the IO ship stamp years ago, but think this may be the first time I've used it. I stamped it on the Crumb Cake panel with Night of Navy and then colored the sails with a white Paint Over Pen, which allowed the stamped details to show through. Added some details with gel pens. I was looking for a compass in my stash, but found the chipboard lighthouse instead. Sponged some Crumb Cake around the edges, attached the brads and mounted on the base, finishing it off with gold gel pen. I don't often make multiples of the same card, but think I will in this case!

Great card! I love that beautiful sailing ship and you did a wonderful job coloring the sails. The brads in the corners are the perfect finishing touch.

Your card is so pretty, Faith. Love the images and colors. Wonderfully done. Hugz
I had an old stamp like this but when I tried to peal it off the wooden block, it crumbled. First time that has ever happened to me, but it was probably from the 1990s.

I love what you did with those sails - such an interesting look and the light house is a lovely artsy piece. The brass brads in the corners really adds to the feel of a "working crew ship" as opposed to a luxury liner . . .

this card is stunning. I love the soft colors, and those brads are perfect for this card. I have a CASE of brads that I never use, and when I see them on someones card it does motivate me to try and use them...
