This is to use up my failed attempt at Jean's TLC. In full confidence that it would work, I had applied my die-cut music flourish to a stencil monoprint with rainbow colours and umbrellas, and I was going to emboss in blue. The powder didn't stick, but gilding flakes did. However they were lost against the monoprint, so I sponged over it first with chipped sapphire, and the umbrellas still showed too much so I sponged again with soot black, and spritzed with water. Then I spattered with copper paint, and added some copper Nuvo drops. Added borders cut from glitter card and popped it up over a background made with Lindy's Magicals on watercolour paper. Tried assorted little gold and blue butterflies but they didn't work, so I left them off. It looks much better in real life with the sheen of the gilding flakes and the shimmer of the Magicals, but it's getting towards evening here now, and I'm away from home for a couple of days.
