Jeanette has called for Monochromic cards in the CAS challenge this week.
I painted some Japanese Wisteria after watching a lovely video (the link was disabled so I can't post it but you can search How to paint wisteria flower in watercolor step by step and find it).
I splattered some paint when the paper was wet to get the background. 12 seconds in the microwave to dry (I don't recommend that as it is dangerous) and then I quickly painted the flowers as this is a CAS challenge and needs to be something you can do quickly. After they dried, I splattered them with white and gold paint and sponged the edges.
It was pretty quick and easy.

Wow, Nancy, Beautiful wisteria and I love them in the differing shades of blue! Gorgeous cas style card and a wonderful bg and I Love the splatters! Hmm, so don't use a microwave for drying. It never crossed my mind. I don't even use one for my food~

Oh Nancy this is so lovely! I love how soft the background is against the gorgeous blue flowers, and the flecks of white and gold are a lovely touch! Absolutely beautiful!
