Kia is hosting this week's Watercolor Wednesday challenge and she chose a tutorial with tulips which I love.
Yellow tulips are my favorite but I decided to go red for more show on my card. And, I meant to make my tulip on the left taller but kind of got off track and forgot.
The tutorial is How to Paint Three Tulips and is by artist, Joanne Boon Thomas. She is teaching us about loose watercoloring.

Wonderful flow and bend to those leaves and now I see I missed the last step which was to add the deep, deep tones to the inner centers. That really makes your blooms pop.
