This was done playing along with the paint a trio of tulips loosely video that Kia is sharing this week. I do have a few shots of the process on the blog here. Loose style is a steep learning curve for me to "let go" and do. As a side note the colors were really the ones shown in the video ( except the yellow) and that did not photograph well. that's life right? thanks for this challenge Kia & tfl.

Very pretty. I know what you mean about letting go. It was fun though. I'm impressed by your shadowing with the blue. It's amazing. Your leaves are shaped so nicely. Need to go check out your blog. TFS

Love your tulips and the shine on them where the light hits. The blades are beautiful and I love the colors and the blue shadow.

I see that like me, it was easier for you to be loose with the leaves rather than the blooms. You did get some nice highlights on the flowers - I struggled to keep any semblance of highlights in mine. Really well executed in the spirit of the challenge.
