Our hostess Chris chose gorgeous colours today - Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, Starry Sky (all subbed) with 'anything warm - could be another colour'. I chose mittens, they're warm! I found a striped paper with 'the colours' and made a background. Die cut and dry embossed the mittens, reversing the top one which I shaped and popped up with various depths of foam pads. Crimped and hand cut the cuffs, adding little bows. Stamped the greeting and popped up with foam pads. Finally added card candy for balance.

Your delicate bows are so sweet and work so well with the "knitted" mittens, Sandie. The candy dots balance out the sentiment perfectly. Very clean & neat Christmas creation~

Fabulous idea! Love the mittens. The embossing makes them look realistic and warm. The cute bow is a terrific touch. The background paper is perfect for the challenge colors. Beautiful card.

Clever dessert option, Sandie! Those mittens are certainly warm, and also very pretty. I especially love the crimped cuff. Perfect placement of the dots to balance the greeting in the opposite corner. Love this!

Love that you did a Christmas card in non-traditional colors and those mittens are fabulous. Great card, Sandie. Hugz
