I've tried to make one using nesting dies, you need 6 sizes to make it work, but you don't need matting papers because the black base works here for the matting, I've colored with pencils and markers and added a sentiment (I'm thinking of you) and 2 sequins
So you start stamping your image and coloring it then you lay the nesting dies over the image and run it through your machine you use only 3 from the 6 ovals you've made and glue them directly on the base so you can stamp out of the box

Clever idea. I did actually use 3 nested dies to cut mine, but they aren't an "infinity" set so the gaps between them would probably be too wide to use like this.
