This is for Anita's challenge to feature an idiom on our cards. I chose "Finding a needle in a Haystack" which basically means trying to find the one impossible small thing in a lot of similar things.
This will NOT be the prettiest card in the gallery but then again "ranch work ain't purdy!"
In retrospect I should have gotten out watercolor paper but what's done is done and I painted my haystack and ground cover directly on cardstock . . . Stamped the old AI cowboy, colored with prismacolor pencils and fussy cut so I could plant him where I wanted him. Hand lettered my sentiment and at the very last minute decided to add a small needle with silver gel pen.

This looks fantastic even on card stock, I couldn't find the needle so I think mister cowboy has work to do, you've colored him very well, love the sky too
Great card! You did a wonderful job coloring and fussy cutting your cowboy. He fits right into the scene you created for him. And I love that you added a needle to be found.
