Howdy! It's time for another Color Challenge. Barbara is our hostess and she has four fun colors for us: Shaded Spruce, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Pale Papaya. The dessert option is DSP or patterned paper.
The two greens inspired me to think of cactus. I stamped the cacti in those greens and stamped the one pot in Berry Burst. The other pot was stamped with Pale Papaya ink on DSP and punched out. I punched two flowers from Berry Burst for the top of the cactus.
I die-cut the panel with a shape I thought had a little Southwest flair. I used a strip of DSP on half of the card base for a split background. I chose this pattern for the resemblance to cactus spikes. The sentiment Howdy is a die-cut. Finished off with sequins in two of the colors. Fun card to make. TFL
We hope you will join us and get your creative ideas going with these terrific colors!

These colors are perfect for a cactus plant. Your layout carries your color scheme through so nicely and I agree the di-cut shape does have a southwest flair.

Diane, what a clever idea to use these colors for cacti. They work perfectly, and your entire composition says "West!) to me, from the cacti to the greeting, to the shape of the die-cut and the DS paper, this card has it all!
